For the first time in my life I tried a typical French dessert, the Éclair (it is a thin bun made with choux pastry, which is shaped into a long shape and baked until crisp and hollow, and is usually filled). The gastronomic diversity that exists in the Argentine capital has always led me to taste different foods, many of them from unimaginable countries. On this occasion I will make the gastronomic review of this dessert from the European country with my first idea.

If you have ever been through the same situation as me, you will know that trying something new and a gastronomy that you are not used to eating can be something strange, but you may like it. This happens with a sweet of the nature of the Éclair. A dessert to talk about, as it is in this review. The product, made at La Moulin de la Fleur, will have my specific report.
First impressions
At first glance, like all French gastronomy, it is a refined, delicate meal and it seems to be made with taste, with a special touch. The chocolate coverage is at a good point so that the dough can be seen. Also, from the diner's side, seeing this product makes you want to buy it no matter what comes out.
Examination
One day, on a break from my current job, I decided to go see what places there were in the area so I could have a quick lunch and be able to finish my working hours again. After having bought my lunch, I went through the Le Moulin de la Fleur store located in the center of Buenos Aires and the small place caught my attention, as well as the things they sold.
For this reason, I decided to enter the premises and see what other things they had inside. In them, there were breads, croissants, and other gastronomic items. But seeing the Éclair, I decided to take it as my dessert of the day to end my meal well.
Pros and cons
Pros: it is delicious, its chocolate coating and filling make it a delicacy and one wants to take ten of them. It's also worth it for the walnut topping on top of the Éclair. It is also soft, it is not heavy and it does not fill.
Cons: for a product that can be eaten in three bites, it is too expensive. Paying a little more than 800 Argentine pesos for a product is worth it for just one time. There are also not many varieties or fillings to be able to vary from time to time.
Final score
Despite the cons it may have, Le Moulin de la Fleur does an excellent job of putting on an Éclair but making it stand out from other gastronomic venues in the area. The dessert leaves a clear example of what should be done when putting together a quality product that people might like.
The final score is 9.5
