Pizzas, in Argentina, are part of the gastronomic culture as they have been consumed for a long time and a long time. But there are some that have strange tastes or unusual toppings in this food. For example pineapple (almost inedible by Argentines and Italians) or ground pork. In this gastronomic review I will talk about something not so common in our gastronomy.

In Julián Albarez 1295, a corner of the neighborhood of Villa Crespo, Buenos Aires, is Electrica, a pizzeria in the style of an old workshop that produces pizzas with natural yeast from organic flour in a wood oven. Innovative toppings include, for example, roasted potatoes with rosemary, mozzarella and parmesan.
But in this gastronomic review I will take a look at their cabbage pizza, homemade ricotta with aromatic herbs, mozzarella and lemon scent.
First impressions
At first glance the pizza has an Italian style, with larger crusts and a smaller base. Its filling seems to be more vegetable than anything else and is accompanied by a lemon, foreign to what you are used to seeing. You can also see the good distribution of its toppings. It is reasonably priced for its size: $ 1090 (£7,30).
Examination
In my years of life, and having lived in Buenos Aires since I was born, I had never passed this part of the Villa Crespo neighborhood. Not at all around this corner. So it felt nice to enter this pizzeria on a Saturday evening in the summer. It was a good idea to spend the meal with a cold beer or soft drink.
Some pizzerias offer other products in addition to pizza, such as appetizers and various desserts related to the usual Argentine gastronomy. In this case they sell appetizers like sweet potatoes or wood-fired corn and just flan for dessert. But, of course, they are characterized by pizza.
Pro and cons
Pros: The value for money is very good. Being an unusual pizza, it gives it a special touch. After putting the lemon on top of the product, it is richer, covering the sour taste of the cabbage. In addition, the toppings are distributed in such a way that they look better. Attention also adds that joy to the restaurant.
Cons: The appearance of the cabbage isn't usually something that grabs the customer's attention. Despite having well spread toppings, it appears that the cabbage along with the cottage cheese generated a rotten appearance by not having as much color.
Final score
For an innovative deli pizzeria, its food is very well done, with a good presentation, with the right toppings for the size and, with good service, it makes you want to come back. However, they should add more color to the kale pizza so that it is more colorful and where the food enters first: the eyes. Final score: 8
